Cool

I'll have to chime in and second the comment on outstanding service. JL was the first to respond and help out with mods to my 01. I had a slight change in the program, and I also received a quick and painless turn around time. Also, I would have never believed a chip would make so much difference. Thanks,
Bill

Thumbs up

I had a delay in my JL chip order due to a computer glitch, yet still received it in about a week. Now, for the good news. I have a standard "CXN1" Diablo Chip for my 2001 L, & now a "CXN1JLS" Johnny Lightning Diablo Chip. Their is a huge difference in the programming. The D chip has excellent power & firmer than standard shifts, & is a superb street upgrade. The JL chip really wakes up the already awesome L throttle response & makes good power across the board, but especially in the 4,200 range & up. The JL shift program is also very aggressive, low rpm shifts are slightly firmer, mid rpm shifts are VERY firm, & WOT shifts are instant. I will run the D chip whenever I use the L as daily transportation. BUT, when I'm cruising, or expecting any action, the JL chip will be in the beast. I'm amazed @ the 2 chips, both are excellent, yet WAY different. The JL chip is a PERFORMANCE PROGRAM, the standard D chip is an all around Super Street program. That's my take, & I'm completely satisfied with both chips. Good Luck...

Lightning Al-- I noticed a performance gain all around. The first big change was lack of traction The shifts are firm, but not harsh into every gear. The power where as before it seemed to plain out it now pulls strong ,and keeps going. Basically it screams. As for gas mileage increase I dunno I can't keep my foot out of it. I pulled the chip out to have some minor adjustments made and I actually hated driving with out the chip in. I have 2200 miles on the truck now. I put the chip in at 900 miles. I know some people would say wait and baby it, but I did that for the first 900 miles and had a tranny go out on me so I'm done with that theory of babying it. After that I figured what the hell, and put the chip in. I can't begin to tell you how happy I am with the performance. My honest opinion it was a night and day difference, and again the service was excellent. Hope this helps,
Bill

Does this mean you have your truck back?

If the weather is good tonight I might be at N.E.D.
