Not to flame anyone, but if you've ever worked on a road crew you start to dislike the people that run over the cones. I've seen some of the cones shot a good ten yards after being clipped. That could really hurt if your hit by one. The cones are there for a reason, if someone moves them someone is much more likely to drive through the construction site.

The way to properly do cones is ya gotta hit em dead center. When you get a couple 2 or 3 trapped under your car then ya drag em around for awhile and watch'em pop out from under the car at random. Little suckers stand straight up again just like they've never been run over. Its quite sporting really !! At least thats what I've heard. LOL

I need some traffic cones for my trip to Famoso. Where can I obtain some legitmately. Please don't suggest a midnight requisition at a construction site; I'm not that kind of guy.

I thought this was going to be a post about hitting them on the freeway, I would love to get a beater and go to town on them.

I thought they put those up on the interstate so that people could practice the slalom??? Now I know why they always shake their fists at me...

One of my friends likes to run over 'em too. He was screwing around with 'em in a rental one night and got one stuck under the car. He decides to take it to the Interstate... After a couple of miles the cone catches fire and goes flying out from under the car! He said it wsa hilarious! Wish I could have saw that!

Very funny, Lloyd. I read that you should take a couple to the strip with you so that you can mark your parking space while you are running. Last time I didn't, and sure enough someone bogarded the killer space I had gotten by arriving early.

killa try NJ, we only have 2 times a day:
5 O'clock rush, which starts at 2pm and last til 7:30pm
any other time is Rush Hour

 

I was going down the road one day with a buddy driving. We turned down a road that they were blocking off the right hand lane for the whole block. Well being 17 and stupid I reached out the window and started tipping over every cone. When we got to the end of the block we saw the guy putting out the very last one. He turned around and saw me tipping over the last couple before him. The look on his face was priceless, It was like he was about to give up. I must have tipped over 60-70 cones it seems like.

Like i said i was 17 then, but it was funny
