Im mostly stock just have a cold air intake(02 L) so is my friend with the c5 vette. He is auto and just has a cat back exhaust. What would probably be the outcomes at the track 1/4 and 1/8? Im sure I havent pulled over any of you racing your trucks against this car. (either way if im in pursuit ill go for the vette LOL)

 

As an owner of a '04 L and a '06 C-6 I would say don't jump on the C-6. It may be tough to beat a C-5 due to the weight difference, however it sure would be fun to find out.

I'd say it will come down to the driver/ traction. I know they are both auto, but if you get a good launch on him, he may not be able to catch you. Then again, the c5 pulls high up in the RPM's... I'd guess the c5 would run 13.2 - 13.6 ish. Your L is what, the same?

I used to have a 2000 Lightning, and a c6 now. I would pick the Lightning over the c5. But a c6 over the Lightning. Shane
