Post I got the custom battery box done, PICS inside.

Up first is the battery box that I have been working on for the past few days, well its finnlly done and it turned out much better then I thought it would. solid like a rock.

Up nest is the Nitrous express kit that has to be put on the truck tonight, and the rest of the bettery pics. I mounted my switch just behing the license plat in a custom braket I welded so when I go to the track I can take off the plate and pass tech. This way when I drive on the street nobody can mess with it either. Notice my number from last week at byron, everybody gave me chit about that one. come on herbie!

Later guys.

Looks pretty easy to change a battery when they go bad. Do you have a trap door on the bottom of the box, or do you have to lift off the bed when you get a dead one?

I not to worried about an optima battery going dead on me, and if they do, then I hook up the jumper cables to the switch in the back of the truck.

I got 2100 Cold cranking Amps of power. It would take allot to drain those batteries.

The bed only takes about 30 minutes to take off anyway. that will give me a reason to clean the frame off again too. LOL

rtkilla - I give you credit. I can take out the seats and carpet out to do my stereo stuff, but I would not want to even take my truck apart like you have.

Takeing it apart isn't that hard, its putting it back together in the right spot, LOL HAHAHAHA. If you every take your bed off, make sure you have atleast four strong guys with you. its not that heavy put hard to manuever with only two. thats all I had was two guys and it was hard. luckyily my buddy Little Sammy is about 6foot 7 inch and close to 350pounds. He's one big boy, and also the nicest guy in the world.
