Post Deep Tranny Pan

Anyone know of a deeper transmission pan for the 4R100? Is the 4x4 pan deeper or are people using it cause of the plug? Will the E4OD pan fit....B+M makes a deeper pan for the E4OD and was wondering if the bolt pattern is the same.

Thanks

The 4x4 pan is a little deeper. Maybe an extra quart. Drain plug is the big advantage. Cheap too.

The E40D will work. The bolt pattern is the same. You will get 3-4 quarts more fluid plus have a drain plug. The pan is also finned on the bottom..

Contact Harvey at www.performanceautomatic.com . I purchased a ALUMINUM pan frm them, it was manufactured by HUGHES. The pan is ribbed,4.5 qts larger than stock, cast aluminum, has a drain plug, complete with filter, hardware, gasket.
I dont recall the price, but I know about 20-25 L owners here took advantage of it when I first posted about it. Check it out..

Recommend Level 10 shift kit or just a revamped valve body? I would do the convertor but the truck has 160 miles on it so im kinda hesitant...although i wouldnt rule it out.

Thanks

I am running the Level 10 and like it. Pretty firm shift with the big valves and springs, but I like that.
