In searching for a Dave Barry column to e-mail to my friend, I ran across a link to the famous exploding whale video. It comes in three flavors, even one for the bandwidth challenged. The idea of assigning the disposal of a dead whale to the Highway Department strikes me as extremely ludicrous, which I guess is the idea. I still can't stop laughing every time I visualize large chunks of rotten whale carcass falling out of the sky. I tend to agree with Dave; this was probably the greatest event in the history of the world.
