Angry ARRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHH! GD kids!

I walk outside my apartment to go put my clothes in the dryer. I look up and see a ROCK hauling *** towards my truck. WHAM! There's goes the back window. I see the kids and they see me. The one that threw tried to run but knew it was too late. I saw him. He stopped and I yelled at him. I went over to his apartment and knocked on the door. Got his mother and showed her where thay threw not one, not two, not three, not four, but FIVE rocks at my truck. Luckily *sarcasm off* only THREE of them hit the truck. Two on the tailgate which left two dents with chips and one hit the window behind the drivers seat. She just simply shook her head when I showed her it still had dealer tags on it.
Simply put, I could have choked his little ***. She told me to get up what it would cost to fix it, like I wasn't, and that she would pay for it. She brought him over and I railed on him pretty good. He said he was trying to hit "a bird". ARGH! Stupid *** little...

Cost for replacement backwindow $350. Cost to replace single pane ~$900. Cheaper to replace the entire window tha just one pane. Makes ALOT of sense huh?

Gotta see how much it's gonna cost to fix the tailgate now.

Did you also call the cops? I think you should definitely have a police report filed just in case the lady backs out. That was you'll have some more credible evidence. Good luck.

Call the police. Get a report. They'll probably get wise and try to deny it.

For sure call the cops. After they hear the cost she'll probably want to make a deal. What a brat. ^5 on your restraint.

I don't own a Lightning, but I love my truck just the same, and I hate kids too... Me I would have choked that little sh*t. I have had kids through rock and my truck and the little stinker got away before I could catch them... just me if I had... I'd be in jail for murder. Parents just don't teach kids respect anymore... And this is coming from a 25 year old male, so I still remember what is was like to be young, but I didn't throw rocks at cars.. I was raised right but my parents

I'm sorry to hear that! I thought it was the end of the world when I just got the truck, and when I got out of the movie theater, there was spit/sticky/soda/drink/goo (? who knows) on my door and window. And while waiting for suspicious characters to come get into the car next to me -- I was victim of a drive-by hamburgering. Got me right on my side and mustard was everywhere - it almost hit my truck. Needless to say it wasnt a very good night. But rocks is another story - file a police report.

OMG...these are all terrible stories! What is this world coming to?!?! I mean, when you guys were kids...did it EVER occur to you when you saw a NICE car or truck to think "Hey, let's go ******* it up, that would be fun and cool!!!"???? Maybe I'm just simple-minded, but when I saw a nice car I usually just stood there with my mouth open drawing flies and saying "Wow!".

I guess there are just alot of loser people out there who figure that since they are too lazy to work hard and earn something nice that they should trash whatever you have just to make themselves feel better.

Paul, you should DEFINITELY call the cops ASAP and file a police report for your own sake (and insurance). If you are mad now, just wait until they try to deny it later (hell, they may deny it to the cop, better get moving bud).

My 30th Anniversary Trans Am got keyed at a movie theater (kids I'm sure, no idea who though) and cost $1000 to fix, so I am pretty much writing off ever taking my L to the movies.

I couldn't be more pi$$ed if it was my truck. The way I see it is, beat the little bastards *** or call the cops. It is truley amazing that the kids now a days think nothing of f**king up peoples stuff. When I was a kid, I wouldn'd dare think of this crap!

Got a police report filed. I'll be contacting the apartment manager as well. I should be presenting her with the estimates tomorrow. We'll see if she sing a different tune.

Moving to Ottawa (city) next year... I will bring some timber and build a garage right in the middle of my highrise's parking lots LoL and one at the office. This stuff is scary. If my truck should ever be vandalized I don't know what I would do, probably get it fixed, but there would be a few days where I would just be inconsoleable. HeHe remeber Austin Powers

They kid across the street ran his bike staright into the rear quarter of my truck when it was about 1 month old. I coulda killed him! But, I saw it all and it wasn't intentional like those little ****s. Fortunately for him/unfortunately for me, the same area got wacked by a car this spring So after that got fixed, his little tiny dent is gone too.
