Post truck vandalized

got up this morning and all the emblems were ripped off the lightning, and not only that they used a screw driver to do it so there are scratches. its really annoying, you try to take good care of something and some guy just comes along and rips you off and then ruins what you have. why are people like this? those emblems arent all that expensive. i would have bought a couple for them. im totally down this morning.

That really sucks. Cops might be able to get finger prints if you think it's worth it.

Sorry Al. Hopefully the scratchs aren't too deep so you can buff them out.

I am so sorry Al! I've pretty much lost faith in the ability for humans to be respectful of one another.

Something similar happened to me recently. On my wife's birthday I took her to see a movie in my nicely shined and waxed 30th anniversary Trans Am, only to come out and find somebody had keyed the drivers side nose to tail. I had even parked a ways out from any other cars and under a light...still somebody purposely walked all the way out there to do that. It caused $1000 for repainting and week and a half in the body shop getting it repainted.

That sucks...

I've had several vehicles vandalized and stolen down here in Miami and I realized there is nothing you can do. I had one stolen...they cut through the wheel to get the club off, disabled the alarm, got the car started...realized I had diabled the tranny and they couldn't get it out of park....so they went back and got a towtruck and dragged it away. All this happened in front of my house while I was asleep.
I get very nervous leaving the truck anywhere unless I'm only going inside for a few minutes. I can just see it being loaded onto a barge with all the other stolen cars here in Port of Miami headed to Venezuela.

It sucks and I'm sorry it happened. But you can look at it this way, it'll be fixed, and 30.00 is a small price to pay to possibly get you out of 100.00 in court costs and tickets in the future

well i wish it only was 30.00 the problem is that the emblems only cost that but the damage they caused with the screw driver is going to be about 1000.00 i have two hundred and fifty deductible so thats what i will have to come up with.

What comes around goes around - they'll get theirs, sooner or later.

Yeah, and we can only hope it's horrible when it happens. Sorry but that's how I feel about the human refuse that do this.

I really feel for you. Some people do not understand the concept of "leaving other people's property alone!" Most likely, the kids who did this will move up to bigger crimes and will eventually be behind bars where they will be getting their dues....
