Talking For those in Northern VA.....

Everyone,

Fast as L and I are planning on hooking up next saturday, the 12th. We are going to go to the Hot Rod Cruise in at Burger King near Manassas Airport and then to hOOters in Manassas for some BS, wings and brew..(& hOOters) ....

If you want to hook up with us:

1) We will be caravaning with the Z Car Club from the Pep Boys parking lot. Be there at 5:15, its right off of route 66 and 234 (Towards manassas). On the right side of the road (Shopping center right past BallsFord Rd).....

2) Or meet us at the Burger King near Manassas Airport around 5:45 (Rt 28). There will be a ton of rods and other custom cars there. Just find a place and we will be there.

Jope to see you there,

Cool

Guys,

Sounds good!!!

I am looking forward to checking out Burger King. There are always some sweet rides out there....

It should be good!!

I'll be sure to be at Pep Boys a little early. Typically there are about 10 Z cars or so....Mostly older ones... LOL..I'm probably the only member of the Z Club without a Z..... After having a 90 300zx, I got some ideas for my next Z. Lets say it involves a 240 shell and 350 CID (Min)... More on that in person

See you there,

I would love to join you guys but will be out of town this weekend.

Brian, I have a few experiences and opinions with Springfield motorsport when I had my Cobra. What kind of info were you looking for?

Brian,

Yup, Marshall is the guy I know in the Z club.

I autocross the Corvette and needed a truck to tow it around to events. The Lightning fit the bill and its a hoot to drive too!

I don't know anything about Springfield Motorsports.

See ya!

Question

Hey BK,

What's the schedule (if there is one) for the rod get-togethers at the BK? Moving back that way soon (just the other side of the airport) and always looking for some car stuff on a boring Saturday evening.

Catmandu99,

Pretty much, Every Saturday from about 4:30 on.....

I've never been to BK, but at Chubbies it seemed like an all day event. If you got there at 7pm...forget a parking space.

Anyway, I usually go up there with the Z club, every 2nd saturday of the month.....Gotta save some saturdays to go racing
