Lightning Transmissions

How long can i expect out of the factory transmission? I just heard a rumor that they go quick but i havent seen much on here about it... the truck im thinking about getting has the fowling mods....
6lb Lower Pulley
- Bassani Shorty Headers
- Bassani Full Exhaust
- High Flow Cats
- SCT XCal 2
- Tuned by PSI Motorsports
- K&N Air Filter
- Drilled and Slotted Brake Rotors
- Hawk Brake Pads
- Lakewood Traction Bars

Also he is claming he ran a 12.2 with this set-up... possable? oh its an 02, if that matters....

My 01 with those exact mods (except for the Bassani hdrs) ran a 12.6 on the F-1's and the tranny had no problems.

my trans has 95k on the clock right now no probs at all... i have over 100 quater mile passes in it..oh yea did i mention 10 1/4 mile passes with the bulit motor/ whipple set up..granted it was on a break in tune but made 582 to the tire and constant 11.3 11.4 passes with only 7 degrees of timing..and i drive it hard on the street.. i do change fluids frequently however for my sake of mind..good luck..

105,000 miles on my modified(5lb pulley, etc), 2001 L with many 1/4 mile(12.531@108.69) passes with no tranny issues. Did replace the engine with a new, 2002 long block when I let the oil pressure go too low with some bad, dirty oil but the trans is till going strong.
