Post PSP Track Virgin

First time to the track with Sal's toys in place. Full heavy street trim. Spare, hitch, Snug-Lid, 60lb rubber bed mat, 1/2 tank gas, and F-1's. Best of three passes was a 13.16 @ 104mph, 1.94 60ft. Track was pretty slick. Spun a little off the line leaving at an idle. Spun at the 1-2 shift as well. Very crowded took almost 4 hours to make 3 passes. Ran out of time for more runs. I think it has a 12.xx in it with the F-1's.

Sal-Spiro,
Thanks to you I was the fastest of 4 G-2's there. Street program with 92 oct crap gas. No detonation at all. Dump the weight, switch to race program with good fuel, MT ET Streets should have me into the 12's.

Wow. That is impressive. Internet high five for that one. Wish I had your kind of cash flow.

Hey Bill, way to go!! That truck has 12's in it for SURE. Even still, very impressive times for how you ran it. Those 60fts are pretty good for F-1s, I don't think you'll get much better 60fts out of them. Time to bolt on the ETs.

Yes Bill, I got it. I am assuming that all is ok and the stuff will ship next day tomorrow? Brass is fine for those plugs. Let me know if any problems..

Silver-Bolt made a damn excellent showing at the strip today, (roasted me twice) and his truck looks very cool with his billet grille to boot. Now he just needs to get that thing lowered!

Looks like I'm going to have to consider a lower blower pulley and a reburn of my Superchip if I plan on showing up at the track with Silver-Bolt and leaving with any shred of my truck's honor intact. Oh well, guess my truck doesn't really have it in her.

Anyway, congrats Bill, I enjoyed meeting and running with ya! I hope I get to see you run your 12's... as you fly by me on the strip once again!

Hey Rick,
Had a great time meeting you guys. How did the rest of the day turn out? Fun time, wish we could have stayed longer. It was fun to see how the different mods worked on everyone's truck. Red VOODOO was smoking for a bone stock truck. Maybe next time it won't be so crowded. Stay in touch. Let me know when the next pay day is.

Bill-

I didn't end up staying for that much longer, got eliminated by Jeff (?) in the first round. I dialed in a 13.55 (it's still marked on my windshield for kicks) and ended up running a 13.58. Still, I lost because of my absolutely horrible 1.24 R/T. Sheesh, talk about falling asleep at the starting line. After that, I had to head home and placate the wife for leaving her behind this morning.

Overall, it was a great day for racing, and a great day overall. While I can't afford to be gunning for you, you've given me some ideas as to what I want to add next. Thanks!

2nd,
Too bad it was so crowded. Would liked to have made more runs. The last run was the quickest, but I was sound asleep on the light. That right lane hooked up better. Still spun on the line then again at the 1-2 shift. Drop me a line if you want to try the Wednesday night 1/8th at PIR sometime.

Spiro,
Very satisfied PSP customer. Didn't feel too bad with the times for the first trip to the track with the L. I think a few more runs and I may have squeeked out a 12. I will find out tonight how heavy the truck was.

Hey, don't leave me behind!

I got to school yesterday with the numbers still on the windshield (hadn't had a chance to get a wash in), and I haven't heard the end of kids wanting to race me now!

I need more money to give to the tuners!

Spoon,
Upgade that chip and slip a pulley in there and hold on.

We need to plan a caravan to the beach this summer. See how many L's we can get.
