Nasty little problem

Done some work on the L this week, It's a 99 and had the leaky intercooler#core so fitted the replacement 10 row one. While it
was in bits changed the plugs to TR6's put on 6lb pulley, 90mm Maf,
and filter. Uploaded an LFP tune that came with the kit on an XCal 2
but when I ran it the truck did not want to go above 3500rpm, felt
like it was breaking down. If I built up revs slowly it was fine just didn't
like sudden acceleration. DTC code thrown up is P0107 MAP Cir low.
Could I have disturbed something replacing the core ? All looks to be
as it should be but it is the first time I have done any work on the L so
may have done something wrong I guess Any ideas on what
to check greatly appreciated.
Col

Check all vacuum hoses, sounds like a leaky or disconnected line.

Been over everything this morning and I just can't find anything
that seems to be out of place. Not sure what to do now other than
return it to stock and see what it's like then ?

My "guess" is something to do with the boost bypass.

It sounds like you missed plugging the barometric pressure sensor back in after you finised the project.
It doesn't have any vacuum hoses, just an electrical plug.

Been over the connections again and again and everthing seems to be
firmly in place be it vac pipes or electrical connections. Waiting for another
tune to be sent in the mail then take it from there.

If you can get down to my place this weekend I could go through the motor with you and see if we can sort it out.

Thanks Ricki I know you have some problems of your own to sort. Unfortunately I'm in work all over easter till Tuesday. Took the truck out again today and it feels like a definate misfire causing the whole truck to shudder. Left it parked up now till I can pull the plugs on Tuesday and see if they tell me anything. Keep you updated on Rebel. No doubt your engine will
be back bigger and better for later in the season ?
Thanks, Col
