Come on guys, let's be nice to Mr. GTP_Rules. Can you imagine how boring your life would be if you didn't have any friends, and all you could do was go to a place like LS1.com and have an "intellectual conversation" with a bunch of other guys? Heck, maybe he can show us some new tricks about the net, he seems to be doing great with his new found search abilities... he found the PM article for the VERY FIRST time and it's only about 2 years old! Maybe next time he will improve some more and find an article that is only a year or so old! Heck, if we are nice enough to him, maybe some day he will invite us along when he goes to one of his favorite "oyester bars" to meet his husband. I think it might be nice to meet the whole Mr. GTP_Rules family. Well, I just wanted to try and promote some harmony around here, but it's time to go to work. Mr. GTP_Rules, you keep posting your excellent information here buddy, 'cause even though we give you a hard time "sometimes", we all still love you and can't wait till your next post...

[lightning-owners-only]Guys we should all be nice to the mentally challenged[/lightning-owners-only]

Cool

Well, I hate to make a post like this, but I can't resist...

A quote from the PM article:

"The Lightning lights our fire. Maybe it's the 13th quickest vehicle you can buy, but it's the absolute quickest, and coolest, truck on Earth."

The Firebird certainly isn't the absolute quickest, or coolest car on Earth by any means.

DJANIMATE,

A better question is what happened to the Z06 versus the Tricked out Focus in Motor Trend.

GTP, you're learning. The only thing is we've got more hp and 3.73 gears stock now.

I can't believe you guys get mad at this kid. He's clearly still using clearisil.

Holeshot, the FR200 is the name of the tricked out Focus. We think alike.

My bad. I was thinking you were talking about the FR500 Mustang.

Thanks

Just to refresh your memory, nobody cares. Why do you come here to just be an a$$? If you like your car so much, go to a Firebird board.

So what your saying is that if the lightnings drop their weight from 4670lbs to 3341lbs, it would be 1329lbs off, which 100lbs = 1/10 sec, that would be a 1.3 sec drop. That would drop a lightning from 1/4 mile: 13.62 sec to 12.32, that would really hurt the formulas 1/4 mile: 13.15 sec.

Dude get over it, the L's are trucks no matter how you look at it. Their no sport cars, but the fact that a factory stock truck would even rank on a list like that is pretty amazing.

Silver_2000, can't you boot him of the board, all he cares about is starting flame wars.
