i normally dont come to this board but i checked it out today and noticed my site and vid was up over here. and yes we were racing and we took it up to 95-100. he was running 13 flat-13.1. the first race i smoked the hell out of my tires and just sat there and had to play catch up but i was a little easier on the rsa's the second time round. his truck was badass though! i couldnt believe the patch he would lay when he would hit 2nd gear. this is the 3rd site that i found this on...jeeze...i just put it up on my site...just happened sunday

if you couldnt tell neither truck was stock! and yes we were racing...lol i was at our monthly meet where we meet up with sport truck owners in IL and that 01 lightning wanted to go at it.. there were 17 witnesses there.

3 people taped the race and the one that was posted was off of my camera. the guy in the lightning was a good guy. he went to the track a couple weeks earlier and ran a 13.0-13.1 and i have to say it was a fast truck! i had a passenger on that run also so nobody could call b.s.

I was the one racing the r/t. Lets get the facts strait first.My truck has a chip and filter only. R/T had 100+ shot of nitrous and
many other mods. The race in the video was
from a roll of about 35mph at which point the
r/t jumped 2 seconds on me because we did not comunicate well, i would say things would have turned out a little diffrently had we both left at the same time. I wonder why they chose to post this video instead of the other ones where the lightning won.

 

That's just it. They need to show all of them win/lose. What's the fun in it if you're not going to be open and totally honest? Where's your cooth?

Come on...be a sport and play fair and show all of the videos. You're leading some people down the wrong path. It's apparent that the Lightning is the superior truck from the factory, and it obviously costs you guys some jack to speed your trucks up enough to hang, but we're not downing you for that. To each his own, but what we're asking is that you be fair and show all the videos. I don't care who wins or loses, but show us all the money!

Don't compare Coolva to GTP. Coolva's a decent guy. It's always nice to get guys from the other side to debate us. Otherwise we're only preaching to the choir the whole time and that really gets me nowhere.

It would be nice to hear the whole story, but it wasn't me that was beat so I really don't take to it personally...

Hey, take it easy on the R/T's. There is a locally with a Whipple charged 99. He runs 12.80's with ET Streets. Those things aren't too strong stock, but they can me made to run with a few mods. We aren't the only ones with fast trucks.

Hey i just took delivery of my lightning three days ago....i have yet to romp on it cause it only has 112 miles on the clock. I have a Dodge Ram SS/T with a Kenne Bell blower, Full exhaust, Gears, and a Shift kit....it will run high 13s low 14s all day long...I will never sell it....
At least it's not a ricer.......right?
