Thumbs up ZorPrime

hey bud

I didn't want to answer on the other bashng thread.
I ran 4 other Lightnings, Dave beat me with a 12.80, but I ran 13.38 at 103 and beat the other 3 Gen 2 L's. Yes it was 92 degrees, and as I am sure you know my truck was running all day from 5 Am till I got to the track so the engine was way hot. So all in all I was very happy with how the new chip ran.
I am going to the track Wednesday up here so will be able to get some true numbers to judge the new chip.

Thanks
Had a great time, and everyone was nice to me in NJ yourself included.

Don, I was curious about what type of ram air you are using. I like the way it is setup. Could ya leave me some info?

It is still a work in progress, I had a chance to test it out this past weekend while JDM was data logging my truck.

I have to find a better way to route the hose, right now it goes under the frame and then bach up to the air cleaner, so it is allmost 3 feet long.
It used a butler scoop, the same one that comes on a JL ram air kit cut down to fit inside the uper grill. While Jim had his equipment hooked up it showed above 40 mph it is definatly pushing air into the stock air box, but I need to remove the grill to find a better way to get the hose to the air claener. This will shorten the hose, and make it a straiter shot.

I am going to try to work on it some more this weekend once I get it working better I will post some new pics, and maybee a how too.

I did notice in 90 degree weather it does help throttle responce, below those temps the JDM filter works better.
