just goes to show you , different strokes for different folks.

 

i think that from my viewpoint, those grills look dated on the 01. it took me awhile to get used to the changes on the 01 but now i think they are definately better, even including the wheels which i now think are nicer than the old ones. so the truck looks a little dated with this conversion.

 

looks great !! i cant wait to get off my dead a$$ and install one in mine .

Looks much cleaner than the stock grills. I wonder if the '01 guys don't like the billet grills because it makes the '01's look like '99 & '00's.

I just put the pic up for the rest of you guys.
I kinda wish I had done black, but I also think the billet looks much better than the stock piece, so I'm not unhappy or looking for approval.
In a way, it helps my L and my Cobra both match.
It also sets the truck apart from other L's, as I am very surprised at how many Lightnings out there actually never get modded at all.
