ANyone have the bassani full exhaust system installed? I was wondering if it has that cool flowmaster sound or is it quiet like borla?

 

I do not have the Bassani, but I met a guy Friday night with it on his truck. It is LOUD and I would say louder that a flowmaster system.

If you like it loud it is the system for you. It is not my taste, but it does sound awsome.People will know you are coming.

BTW Bassani claims the full exhaust kit will add 45 hp....that seems pretty high considering it is just exhaust....

 

I don't think that anyone has taken a stock lightning dynoed it and only placed a BASSANI EXHAUST <ha c&p> on and redynoed it to see the increase or lack there of, but some here have done the exact samething and run 1/4 and didn't see any performance increase.

This has been well documented here before so you can do a search to get better/more info on why this doesn't work, it's also like $1800 for the full meal 0hp deal.

I have the full Bassani exhaust and it sounds deeper than the flows. Before the L, I had a 98 Cobra w/ off-road H and series II flowmasters. It was a higher pitch loudness, the Bassani on the L is on old big block muscle car sound. Deep! Muscle Mustang and Fast Ford installed one on the "fridge" (white 99 Lightning like mine) and gained a few ponies.
