Not really a kill, but still fun as heck!!
I'm on my way home from Home Depot with a bedload of stuff including an air conditioner. This is, by the way, the first time I'm using the truck as a truck; usually the SHO gets haul duty. Anyway, I got 100 miles on the motor rebuild, I'm thinking it's time to break this baby in the right way 
. So I'm looking for things to race, I get a kid in a 5.0 with his girlfriend messing with me. It was cool, I killed him, but he still rolled down the window and gave compliments to the truck. Then a little while down the road, I see 3 guys on Jap bikes messing around. As luck would have it, the light ahead goes red, and all three guys are in the one lane, leaving the other open for me . So I pull up, look over at one of the guys, and nod my head. He nods back, and puts his visor down. Then I hear them saying stuff like "why are you gonna race a truck?" and such. The light goes green, we blast off, me and all three of them. I stayed even with the one guy, and the other two only pulled ahead slightly. At the next light, I roll down the window and hear one guy say "holy sh*t!! That things f*cking fast!!" I yelled over, "hey, not bad for a truck, huh?" The one guys starts giving me compliments and the others follow.
I'll tell you what, I don't care if an LS1 is a tenth or two faster than a Lightning stock, you don't get response like this in no Camaro or Firechicken
I love my truck!!

Ha ha ha. It is fun to surprise the unknowledgeable of these trucks performance. It was a blast with my 99, because nobody knew WTF they were. Now that the words out, it takes some of the fun out of it. But they are sure fun to drive!
