Last night, i went to a get together with the local race club, and this guy in a turbocharged 91 gtx asks if i want to race. I say sure and we head off. The first race was from a 20 roll, and i got the jump on him, but once his turbo got spooled up, he was gone. Then we went from a 40 (stupid idea, i know) and this time he was able to spool up quicker and beat me even worse.
Then, i raced a yellow GTO from 30 twice. I thought "I bet I'll do much better against him." But he whooped my *** big time! I swear, this guy can shift so fast, it's like an automatic!
Yeah, i lost, and i was pretty sure i was going to anyways, but it's all good. I'm all about having a good time racing, whether I'm going to win or lose. I say forget about that stuff, just shut up and race!

But I am seriously considering getting a few upgrades to make my L faster before this summer!

 

What mods do you have? If none, looks like it's time to get some.

 

Only pussies race from a roll. Race them again from a dig and I bet you will see a different race.

Oh yeah, it's definitely time for a 4 pounder and a tune! i may do it over spring break, then come back and try again.
Yeah, i know it was dumb to race from a roll. if we had gone from a dig, i might have beat that gtx in the 1/8th, not sure about the 1/4. but that gto would have beat me no matter what!
