Post Airraid Problem

Installed Airraid today (my first mod to ever install). One of the directions is to "Reinstall A.T.S. to the AirAid C.A.D.". I think that is the chord that is hanging down that I don't know where to put. Plus, my truck is saying "service engine soon." where does this chord go? Do I cut it off/not needed?

Anyone in Kansas City (southern portion) willing to meet me somewhere for a five minute helper...?

Colin

Do not cut it off. Take your filter off and look to the right, there is a hole on the bracket where your filter is located. Put it through and turn it to lock it in.

You need to install that sensor in the box. Then you can disconnect your battery and the light will be out. DO NOT CUT ANYTHING!

I was joking about the cutting. I'm going to go try this now, see how it works. Will report back with results.

Ok, I see the whole, but the plug is too big to fit into the whole. Does it plug into somewhere on some tubbing? Or is it supposed to stream through the wall of the Airaid and into the filter somehow (there's no plug-in on the K&N filter).
And how do you unplugg a battery? Kinda worried about that one..

You might have to loosen the airbox from the air meter in order for the sender to fit properly. If you don't know how to disconnect the battery you should not attemt anything else under the hood without supervision!

Hmm... Then screw it. I'll take it back to where I bought it and have them look at it. I take it that it's ok to drive with it like this, correct?

Here's what is unplugged.

Flex - I'm taking it back to KC Trends where I bought it. KC sold it to me, and he is a former 2000 Silver Lightning owner.

Zeus,
If you can't get the sensor in place, and you don't put the stock unit back the way you found it, then at least make sure you secure the wire and sensor so it doesn't get banged up. I think it is a good idea for someone else to look at it.
