Yes, that is the right plug for a stock truck.

It is a little hotter than a TR6.

Gap at .042" - .044"

If you kick the boost up over stock go to a TR6 and start gapping smaller according to the amount of boost you are running.

Those are fine. I would rather stick to the stock plugs at stock boost levels(even 2#s additional) as they have a real nice idle quality and burn very clean. The NGKs are noticably rougher running. Gap .042

A friend of mine just changed his for the first time at 100,000 miles. He's fully stock. They looked like they could've gone another 100K. The Motorcrafts are what I'd put in it if I was going to leave it stock. Can't beat 'em.

First step would be go to ngk.com and check your application, if you have a lightning the correct STOCK plugs are tr6's.

Then people will say " no there not ", so then u can cross reference any other cross reference book and it will show tr6 = stock ford plug.

People will then say " no ngk only says tr6 are stock but they are cooler because there a copper plug." I however personally think ngk should have an idea of whats what since they make the plug.

Next step will be someone will post a chart that shows tr5's or tr55 are for a stock lighting. (just because its a chart does not mean its correct)

Bottom line is if your stock stick with stock plugs - some ngk plugs are not the exact same height and the coil packs dont seal aswell thus causing corrosion problems.

I personally run tr7ix from a 2#, to 4#, to 6#, all of which shows that a tr7ix is colder then a tr6 and i dont have to change the plugs every week and my idle is just as good as when it was stock. (i did gap down to .032" which i think the tr7ixs came at anyway)
