Exclamation A couple of things to check

I kinda like to roll around on a creeper under the truck every now and then. The only things that I've found so far on the new '01 L are:
1) One of my trailer hitch mounting bolts was not tightned all the way. I figured that it was crossthreaded, but it tightened up ok.
2) I was just looking under the frontend. Check to see that your front framehorn uprights have the rubber correctly attached to the inside of them with the black plastic push pin type holders. Mine were flapping in the wind on both sides. They plug into 1/4 inch holes on the uprights, from the inside, to the outside.

Other than that, the only other thing I have found to do, is adjust the bed correctly.

Happy Motoring & Keep the tank full.

I think they don't spend alot of time aligning the bed when they build these trucks. There are 6 Torx bolts that hold the bed on. My bed does not line up evenly with the cab on both sides. I'll have to loosen the bolts and slide the bed over so that it fits to the cab the same on both sides. It's a pretty simple deal to do. It will save me alot of grief by doing it myself, rather than have a Technician (heeheehee) at the dealer do it.

Wink

I found a styrofome cut stuffed in the frame behind the front bumper. There is no way it could have been put there after installation of the bumper. he he

'Red:

I also had the rubber pieces not attached to the uprights on my '00. Just discovered it last week, also while rolling around on the creeper (working on my ram-air design).
