Hey 01Bolt. Send me an e-mail so I can get your addy, if you do not mind, at cyaford@yahoo.com I wouldn't mind setting something up for a future date........ Now I know why I saw 3 of the cars pictured today running around Bellevue. The TT and the S2000 are at McDonalds in Bellevue RIGHT now, where they've been sitting for about an hour. Ask them about the Yellow C5 that drove through. They saw me. .... I just went out to put some gas in, and they were still there!!!! I'm sure you had a blast. Later!

Ted

Beautiful countryside. But that bridge blew me away. A pickem up truck sure looks funny among all those two seat sport cars. Must have shocked alot of those sport car people!

01Bolt,

Glad you had a good time! So, did Thad let you take the TT for a spin? Oops, that would dictate you letting him drive your L, nevermind.

That bridge looks like a good candidate for bungieeeeee.

That bridge sure does look familiar. Looks just like this bridge I went over a few weeks ago. The yellow blur in the front is me.

Cool

That bridge is on the cover of one of my concrete design books. It's quite a structure.

Well, at least they could get a long look at those clear tail lenses if they doubted the "big white farm implement" couldn't haul more than just hay. Well, most of them would see the rear. ..... I noticed that the group seemed to descriminate against GM. ...... At least somebody in Nashville yesterday went on a fun cruise....

Cool

I'm the guy who hosted the Natchez Trace Rally II on Saturday. I will tell you that it was a pleasure to have everyone come out, and I really enjoyed getting to know Paul and his lovely wife better (the owners of the white Lightning).

If you'd like to see some more pictures of the rally taken by a few friends of mine, go here:

http://pub6.ezboard.com/fmr2spyderfo...icID=322.topic

While I do not own a Ford right now, I certainly appreciate the Lightning for the great vehicle it is. I'm one of those guys that likes cars - be it made by Ford, Chevy, Chrysler, BMW or whomever. I right now own the CLK430 Cab pictured in the rally pics, but also have an NSX and a BMW Z3 Coupe. Don't flame me - I know they're all foreign cars, but I have owned many Fords in my life, including 2 Panteras (including a GT5), a '68 Shelby GT350 Convertible, a '56 T-Bird I bought from Reba McEntire, and an ERA Cobra replica with a 428 Super Cobra Jet motor with 4 2 bbl. 48 ida Webers.

Hope you enjoy the additional pictures.

Cool

Paul,

If you buy the SLK, make sure to use Robert Smith as your salesman. He sold me the CLK430 Cab, and he's a great guy. BTW, buy the 320 and not the 230 - much better car (I've driven both) and worth the extra $$$.

As we discussed over lunch at Loveless Cafe, I still think the Corvette C5 Convertible is the best bang for the buck for your wife, but the SLK320 is a very nice car.

Now that looks like a fun day. Great weather, fun people and awesome hardware. The flavor doesn't matter, just the fun.

01Bolt: Here's some pics of the Vette cruise down the Trace. It would've been a better event if there would've been some more "flavors" present.....
