Post Enough already!

$2.27 a gallon today! And prices are only going to get higher throughout the summer. As much as i love this truck, i may have to trade it and maybe get a WS6. At least they approach 20mpg. 50 bones for a fillup is demoralizing.

I don't know what kind of scam the gas companies are pulling by you.

Our prices here in NJ *knock on wood* havn't budged any in the last 3-4 months.

Of course, it may help that Elizabeth NJ has a huge set of refineries and hundreds of those huge gas storage silos...but then again, we also have more superfund sites per square mile then anywhere else in the country.

Well...here in Carrollton Texas, gas is going for about $1.53-$1.64/gallon...BUT, theu just opened up an Albertsons Grocery Store gas station about a mile north of my place and they have gas for $1.39/gallon right now. I suspect that deal will be over this weekend though since it is their Grand Opening. You make me so glad I moved away from California last summer when you tell me how much you are paying. I lived near Palm Springs when I moved.

We're paying $1.75 down here in College Station (~70 miles northwest of Houston). It jumped up from $1.65 a little over a week ago, but it's held steady since. *knocking on fake-wood computer desk*

Here in Santa Fe, NM gas is $1.60 for 86 $1.70 for 88 and $1.80 for 91. 20 miles away on the indian reservation you gan get 91 for $1.40. Can't we make an alternative fuel ourselves?

I tell people I hate my truck for 5 minutes a week. (Usually every Saturday afternoon) The rest of the time, my truck is like a dog; faithful and brings a smile to my face.

$1.79 on average for 93 here in Mobile, AL

I do remember when I went to NJ about 4 years ago and be damned if 94 wasn't like a $1.25 or so pumped for me, haha. Then, I didn't know this, but Millionaire last month asked the contestant which states require to pump for you, and then I learned why NJ pumped my tank full for super cheap.

Howdy!

Xeroxman1,

That Albertson isn't in Carrollton, it's in Plano, barely.. The Chevron on Marsh has the same price, plus you have a bar right accross the street. LOL.

Have a cheap day.

------------------
My ride:

Basics:
- '99 XLT F-150

Under hood and back:
- Ram air (Don't ask me how )
- AiRaid intake
- Flowmaster DF 50 Series
- 24x3.5" Stainless steel slashed tips (Yes! Solid polished SS, no cheesy chrome-plated)
...

Outside:
- Precision polished billet grille and plate holders
- American Racing 17x8s polished Pythons (Flushed front AND back)
- Goodyear.. something tires (Expensive is all I know. LOL. No Firestone firecrackers for me either)
- Rhino liner
- Ford nerf bars
- Ford bed rails
...

Inside:
- My girlfriend!
...

Fun stuff:
- Dual sirens Black Widow alarm system/keyless entry (Enough decibels to go deaf in a garage )
- Custom driving lights (Just a cool blue)
- 2 High-Watt lights behind grille (For people who cut me off )
- Dual horns (For people who, again, cut me off)
- Dual wheel locks (So I won't be driving home on bricks!)
- Spare wheel lock (So I won't have to use a brick as a spare )
...

Best of all:
- Texas A&M University aTm front plate! Gig'em Aggies!!

Howdy!

Duck01,

Houston isn't ~70 miles south of Aggieland. It's ~99 miles. Both towns have lots of bars..

Have a wet day.

Here in Lost Angeles it has gone up a lot in the last three weeks.
I paid over $2 per gallon for the first time this week.
92 octane (self serve) ranges from
$2.01.9 to as high as $2.16.6
Lots of $2.09.9 around here now

Full serve I've seen $2.65.9
Ouch
