New Suspension Almost Done
New Suspension Almost Done
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just ordered my So-Cal shock extenders and WC 1-2" drop shackles to go along with my DJM upper c-arms the wife got me last week. All i need now is some WC 2" drop lower control arms and a Ruslow panhard bar. My new suspension is getting very close to being finished. For the last year or so i have been running the Hotchkis TVS kit with the matching shocks. Now i am switching to a lower stiffer suspension. below is my new setup:
Front:
1. DJM Upper control Arms
2. WC Lower control Arms
3. Ruslow 1200lb coil springs
4. Hotchkis/Bilstein shocks
5. Hotchkis sway bar
REAR:
1. Hotchkis rear leaf springs
2. WC 1"-2" drop shackles
3. So-Cal shock extenders
4. Ruslow Panhard Bar
5. Hotchkis/Bilstein shocks
6. Hotchkis sway bar
i am going to try this suspension out on some auto-x and at putnam park road course this year. If i need to make some adjustments to reduce the understeer i am going to switch over to a hellwig rear sway bar, maybe add some airbags/helper bags (like tim skeltons setup), and/or switch to a stiffer rear shock. Man i can not wait to hit the track with this new setup.
