do you guys love the way people look at these trucks as much as i do. i used to have a 99 white one and just everyone used to stare at it. i decided to get a red one this time and they still do double takes. these are the best things for big people too. i have never been comfortable in sports cars and these are the best of all worlds. or is it just me?

 

It's awesome! People are always walking by and ponting, checking it out at stoplights, etc. I love it!

I love it! Just the other day I came back to my truck on campus and found a note on the windshield. Some guy said if I ever sell it to email him first. He wants first crack it! How many times do SS, Audi TT and WS6 guys get stuff like that?

This has a down side as well. I know for a fact that at least 4 accidents at a particular intersection near my home are the direct result of people staring at my truck while driving. At first I felt bad about it, but then figured that if these pinheads can't pay attention to thier driving instead of staring at my truck, then they got what deserved!

I just pray one of 'em doesn't plow into me when they are staring.

Love having the attention. Though, as a downside, I can't pick my nose while driving. I miss doing that in my old clunker.
I love the "Sweet, I have never seen one of these!"
And yeah, Speedracer, I need to start charging too. Everytime I take someone for a ride, I tend to show off and waste $3 worth of gas.

Automatic, Reg. cab, 3.55LS, tinted windows, bug deflector, Dual exhaust, K&N Generation 2 air filter, BullDog keyless entry/remote start, Modern 16" wheels, bedliner, Covercraft tonneau cover, White faced gauges, electronic shift on the fly, Clarion ADX5655z Double Din Cassette & CD, 4 Pioneer TS-A6865 speakers and superchip. Going to add headers.


Future mods: Supercharger, headers, NOS, tranny upgrade(heavy duty gears, clutch packs, etc.), performance torque converter, composite driveshaft, bore engine 30 over, new pistons, crank, and rods, performance heads, new L if they still make them and I like the way it looks, and a Z06 Vette or BMW Z3.

It's nice that people notice and look but it's a royal pain to keep finding hand and forehead marks on the glass caused by people trying to see through the tinted windows.

Well, I am disappointed. I thought with the sleek, incredible good looks (some would disagree) of my Audi TT (been driving it for a little over 3 weeks now), I would have to fight off the lookers and questioners. Hasn't happened one time. With the L, I found people drooling over in the parking lot at work, and would often find people motioning me to roll my window down in traffic to tell me how much the love the L. The car certainly gets attention. BTW, the Audi girls continue to lay down the smack on the L's in their forum. A few of them there definitely need to see their docs about testosterone shots - of course if they did so they would want to buy your L's.

I Miss The L

 

I had a Cop pull me over the other day, he made some Lame excuse as why he pulled me over. Then he started to ask me all kinds of questions about my truck, and if I put the tail lights on. I think he just wanted to check out my truck.

I know I wasn't doing anything wrong I was stopped at a red light behind two cars. When the light turned green he did a U turn and went right after me.
