Cool Fun Kill!!

Hey All!!!! I was driving down the interstate and looked in my rear view and saw a red lowered chevy with a cowl hood. I was just cruising along and he pulled up beside me and reved up his motor. My wife looked at me with a big grin and a laugh, so we cruised unitl the traffic broke up and I got up beside him and he stomped on it. I stayed beside him and then i decided to get on the gas. I jumped him about 4 car links before i blinked. I let off around 125 and slowed back down to normal cruising speeds and he pulled back up beside me and gave the old thumbs up.. My wife said to me,"I bet he won't try that again!!!" Sorry for the long post!!!

DUDE!!! I'm from Clarksville. I live in Nashville now, though. If you wouldn't mind, we could meet up and take a run down I-24 and run up to 125 mph to see how my '00 Chevy will do. I realize that I drive a lowly Chevy, but I would like to know what I could do against a Lightning. We could then post the results here, as I'm not a sore loser. Take care!

Oops! I almost forgot. If you're interested, a few of us "car guys" are meeting up at Cozymels to shoot the sh** and have some drinks. We're meeting this Saturday at 4pm. There's actually going to be more Fords than Chevys. .... The link to the meeting is at this SVT site: http://www.svtperformance.com/ubb/Fo...ML/000089.html
As you can see, there will be some Lightings and Cobras there. There's gonna be no flaming, just checking out other guys/gals fast rides.... Later!

Oh my God! You mean there's somebody faster than my little 'ol nearly stock Vette? Oh no, what shall I do now!? .... Sorry guy, you've got the wrong owner here. I guess I'm one of the few Vette owners that know I don't have the fastest car in the world. It seems like on every Forum people talk about the C5 guys thinking they are unbeatable. For the ones that actually think that way, they're gonna get a rude awakening on many occasions..... Oh yeah, and back to your "lesson learned" statement: I'm waiting. When are you coming down? Or did you just offer something that you will not back up? See ya soon, maybe....

99L3935: Hey! I just got another e-mail from a member here that will be going tomorrow. Now it looks like the Lightnings may edge out the Cobra guys, as far as attendance. The Nashville F-Body club is having their meeting tomorrow so the few that were coming will probably back out. We'll see. The weather forecast is looking good also. Hope to see ya there!

YELLOW00,
It was simply a post about a little race it wasn't a Chevy verse Ford. I was simply commenting on a little race. You had to turn it in to a flame. I don't care what kind it was i just like fast vehicles. I drove a Vette the other day and it was really nice, just to much $$$ for me. Would love to meet up with you but allready have plans to go to Steak and Shake in clarksville for a cruise-in. We had 3 l's there last weekend with 1 2001 Cobra and a 00gt conver. Talk to you later!

WHOA!! I think you took my post the wrong way. I've never seen anyone from Clarksville post on any Forum, thus the "DUDE!!!!" statement. I didn't take it as a flame post and was just givin ya some *****. As far as Ford vs Chevy. That's for the very young and the very old to argue about. I'm just into fast and nice cars. I could care less what make or model it is.... I haven't been to Steak-N-Shake in a long time. I worked at T-R-U behind the SNS for about 2 years while I was going through school. I'll drop you a line next time we have a little gathering. Take care....

Ted

Hey, I just sent you some mail. If you know of someone that could let me borrow some Nittos, I'll definitely go anytime. I posted a while back about my trip up there. Can you say, no traction! I have no problems with the run-flats until I go to the track. Another Vette did a 720 last time I was up there, and he had a friggen automatic!!...... Let me know when you guys are going up there. My friend who has a '99 C5 would be interested as he has the proper track tires. He loves that place....
