Lightbulb Converting 1/8 mile to 1/4 mile times.

Since I often hear people ask what their car/truck will run in the quarter if they run a certain 1/8 mile time, I thought I would post a formula that I worked out to calculate 1/4 mile times. It seems to come with 4 or 5 HUNDRETHS of a second although every once in a while it's off by a tenth. (Pretty accurate I'd say)

1/8th mile time * 1.55 = quarter mile

If those tightwads won't make that 1/8 track into a 1/4 track for you, just ignore that NO UTURN sign at the end and finish your run.
Eventually, they'll get the message.

I don't have that problem anymore, but for a while where I used to live, there wasn't a quarter mile track. About a year before I moved they put one in.
