Question Calling Speedracer29

Ok, what's up with this comment?:
"Some mods like the lower blower pulley actualy do not help 1/4 mile times. They hurt them."
How do you figure?
Have you experienced this?
Have you seen someone experience this?
I'm not quite sure, but usually when one increases hp and torque it results in higher trap speed and lower et's. I guess I wouldn't think that lowering hp and torque would result in higher trap speeds and lower et's.
Maybe I missed something.

I have read, and talked to a lot of tuners around here on the subject. I actualy did not mean Lower Blower pulley, I meant the one on the blower, but it doesn't make any differace. But anyways it does help you 1/8th mile time, but for some reason no one I have talked to has increaced there 1/4 mile time by it. Also it is overreving the charger causing them to blow up. That charger is not built like the engine. The engine can take a lot, but the charger can only take a little more than what it is giving out.

I guess that's the first I am hearing about that, but I guess I didn't pay much attention to times or speed with the upper pulley as it seemed alot of people were having problems with pulling the original upper pulley off and damaging the blower. Curious to start seeing the results once we start seeing the lower pulleys being installed.

I guess if the chip was tuned right It would not be a problem, and could possible help

JDM told me the lower pulley got them 8 RWHP, am I the first to post this?

It seems like there’s a lot of potential SC problem, delivery dates, nasty posts, and bad blood over 8 RWHP, go figure.
