I'd say at a minimum, two, one to do the install (me), and one to stand by and help curse because my arms are too short to connect those damn little buckles, and hand me iodine and band-aids because Ford has booby trapped the underneath of the seats with all kinds of little sharp edges.

Alphadoggy, I don't know if you saw my other post about the Wet Okoles. The answer is most definetly, two.

I had them install them at their store in Costa Mesa. There were two guys tugging, pulling and cursing. I stood by and watched. Best money I could have spent on installation, however they installed them at no extra cost.

So far, I like them. The SVT seats are pretty good looking, but were showing signs of wear already. I use the truck as a daily driver on my seles route. I felt it best to protect them now, instead of waiting until they are destroyed.

Actually, once I got the hang of it it wasn't really that bad. Still have the driver's seat to go, but don't think it will be nearly as difficult as the passenger side. Only needed two units of blood. Don't think they look as good as the oem upholstery, except for the Lightning logo - that is cool. But I got them for the protection, and they should do that. I can't figure out what the beret is for, though? Any ideas?
When is Hooters? I thought it was yesterday. Doubt that I will make it, my truck is running terrible, but maybe I will take Marcus up on his offer of a ride. Got to figure out what I will tell my wife, though.

 

I would say one cuz, I did it myself, but it sure IS work. If I had the option of having someone else installing them I sure would have gone that route!

Ya, installation is a PAIN. I had to do it myself, I did make-up new curse words I had never heard before.

The 'beret' is to cover the center counsle lid.

Hey guys, what color did you get? I wanted to get the black/charcoal or black/lt gray but I don't know which is closer to the color of the interior, I'm assuming the charcoal is the closest. Also, did you get any graphics on yours? I noticed they had a bunch of graphics but the FORD menu didn't work so I couldn't see them. It would be awesome if they would make some with the Lightning emblem.

I got the charcoal and dark grey combo with the light grey lightning emblem embroidered in the seat back. Goes really well with the rest of the interior, I think. Will post pics after I finish the install.

 

How disappointing. I thought the beret looked really good on me, much better than on the console, in fact. Maybe I will call Wet Okole and ask them if they will send me a duplicate.

 

The real question is "how many people does it take to take them off when you decide they look like a "70's polyester leisure suit"(IMHO) Besides, how much does it cost to just buy new factory covers, especially since you will probably just replace the driver's seat anyway??? (if you notice, I took the wet okoles out of my sig.)

Geo...A T55 will have that seat out in no time. Might be easier.

 

I managed to put the okoles on myself. It was a bear. I thought I was doing something wrong.

I think my hands were sore the next day from gripping and stretching the stuff so hard. Well, they were sore from something.
