Thumbs up Thanks, Herb

Got my washers in the mail yesterday. Thank you for the prompt service. As you know Ford's star washer fix just doesn't work. My front tires are still wearing unevenly. $50 may seem a little pricey to some, but it is a hell of a lot cheaper than constant realignments and replacement of tires, plus getting rid of that annoying noise. I am almost tempted to buy another set while they are available for when I trade my truck in on the one with the bigger blower. I will post the results as soon as I have them installed.

Ok, I give, how do I order these, and wasn't there a cam bolt kit I'm also supposed to get from Summitt? If so, what's the part number. Forgive me all for not using the search, I am leaving for work right now. Thank you in advance.

Yes, I already tried the star washer fix. It doesn't. And Marcus, order your washers from jacksonherb@hotmail.com. Specialty products http://www.specprod.com/ makes a cam bolt kit for the L. It isn't listed on their web site, and you can't order direct, but I got mine from a local distributor for about $45.

Herb,
I also received my washers the other day, I'm getting the truck aligned todat at 2:30. To get the cluck fixed and to stop the alignment from changing day to day I think that the fifty dollars is a great deal.

Did you actually try the star washer fix? Mine has the clunk and I haven't touched it yet. I haven't decided which fix I want to go with.
