in my younger days, i had 427s , hemis, and 440 6 pack motors. they were all awful on gas. much worse than the motors today including the lightning. it didnt bother me then it doesnt bother me now. just put your foot down and the price goes away.

I'm getting an average of 13mpg with my 4x4. At a cost of $0.61/L(cdn) for a 80L fill, which comes to around $49. For a premium fill at $0.70/L, it comes to about $56. An extra $7 per fill to run a Lightning over my 4x4, except the L is rated for 14mpg in I'm only getting 13mpg. I can drive approximately 17.4miles or 28km farther with the L on a full tank, saving approx. $4(cdn), making it a difference of $3 per tank extra to run a Lightning over my 4x4. Definitely better bang for the buck! I'd be willing to fork out an extra $3 for the huge gain in peformance. Sorry, this is more for me then anyone else.LOL
