Post HELP!! Which size MT STEETS DO I NEED?? QUICK

I just ordered the 26x11.5-16 for a set of aluminum prime wheels I have kickin around. My question is they had 2 16 inch sizes. The ones i ordered were 26.2 inch tall and a tread pattern of 9.7 which seems to be perfect but I want to make sure i got the right ones.

they also had 26x10.5-16 with a size of 25.9 and 8.4 tread pattern.

DID I GET THE RIGHT ONES??

I am not concerned with what size wheel I am supposed to use rather why they would make them so close in size?? I got the larger for more sizewall crinkle and more tread patten,I am not concerned with gear reduction but I am wondering why they make them so close and to see what everybody is using????

Please tell me if i did right and why more imnportantly please help so if i screwed up i can change the order tonight. They will beb shipping tomorrrow morning fgrom summit

They are basically the same tire, just one is wider. Either one should work for you. You have to have at least an 8 inch wide rim for the 11.5s though.

Why does everyone wanna run a smaller height tire (26") than stock (28.4")? Seems to me that the smaller tires are for vehicles that DO NOT have torque, something I'm pretty sure L don't have a problem with. Can you run 15" rims on the back?

And no one currently makes a 28" tire that will fit on either 16" or 18" rims. Believe me when I say this isn't for lack of trying. I've been pestering MT and Nitto for months to make a 28" tire the we can use.

Nitto is saying that they will have an 18" DR sometime this year, but I haven't heard of them being released yet.
