Post My Blown Headgasket results (pics)

well... I got a few pics up of my truck's pain from the head gasket...




I've learned that water injection can clean pistions, just I'd recomend a different injection method

Ohh that hurts, thats the guts of a 318 right.

Either you are pretty damn good, or ya saw my sig Yea... thats me 318... (wish I could call it a 360)

You didn't know that water injection helped clear carbon build-up? I had a 86 pontiac 1000 that was carburated. Had 160,000 on it and never was rebuilt so it had a lot of carbon build-up. When I would go up hills it would ping so I ran some water through it and that helped.

Going to add headers.


Future mods: Supercharger, headers, NOS, tranny upgrade(heavy duty gears, clutch packs, etc.), performance torque converter, bore engine 30 over, new pistons, crank, and rods, performance heads, new L if they still make them and I like the way it looks, and a Z06 Vette or BMW Z3.
