Guys, I need your help. I have had a 01 Lightning ordered since last October. The truck finally came in last Friday after being made the week of Feb 19th (that is another story for another post). Went to see the truck and was told it was in the body shop. You guessed it, they had damaged the front bumper cover unloading the truck. Dealer indicated that 3 out of 4 had the same damage. We talked to SVT today and they had not heard of this. For those who had this damage, could you post with your delivering dealer. I will have SVT reference this post.

By the way, they put my name on another Lightning that is to be made next week, another wait!!

 

Mine was damaged also, but only the grill was cracked though not noticable. It has been on order since March. Still no word!!!!

Yep. Scratched the front bumper. Dealer would only repaint the bumper. Did a crappy job. I don't think they even took it off.

There are rough spots not even close to where the scratch was...overspray? No clearcoat, I'd say. Sucks. Quick, cheap, and dirty.
