Cool guys thanks for the quick replies. It seems kinda cheap not to include it though, My 00 Xterra had it included.

 

Hey guys I have a quick question. I just purchased my 01 Lightning about 15 days ago and just noticed that I did not get a hitch (the part that the ball attaches to and slides in the receiver). I do have the receiver part that is mounted to the truck and also a plastic bag with a wiring harness in it, but not hitch part. Should I have also got this part as well?

 

No - You have to buy the right Bar and ball to fit your trailer.
