Thumbs up a particularly satisfying kill

Headin home on the the Okeechobbee blvd but what do i see weaving in and out of traffic in front of me is a gold 99 vette (with some really obnoxious looking sidepipes). Had to maneuver a bit thru traffic to get in the clear and passed by him in a totally non agressive way. As I slow for the next light he pulls along side and revs it hard. (I could see his pretty girfriend in the front seat smilin at me). So we nearly come to a complete stop and the light changes and I give my trusty steed the spurs and she launches like a dream. I hear him make a try, but alls he gets is a mouthful of my dust. Never came within 20 yards of me before I let out. He came crusin by me at the next light and wouldn't even oblige my smile (although his girlfriend looked like maybe she wanted a new ride). It's times like these I don't give a darn about clunks or a leaky IC. Man I love this truck!!!

Good kill. You should have told the girl to come riding with you. First take his smile...then take his chick.

Thumbs up

You're right, that's the most gratifying kind. I wonder what it is about these trucks and women? I have received lots of compliments on my truck, but as I think about it the vast majority were from those of the female pursuasion. In fact, the very first one was from a group of four babes in a parking lot, and one of them even asked me if I was married (she was joking, I'm pretty sure). I didn't buy this truck for a chick magnet, in my geezerdom, not to mention wedded state, but I can see where it could be in the right hands. Perhaps CA or Trace can explain the attraction.
