Somebody has to have blown up a motor or 2 on this board. Any replies would be helpful.

2 cam sam,

Did you try http://www.fordpartsonline.com/ or http://www.buyfordmotorsport.com/ (for $380 a set)?

Several have ruined motors, but to the best of my knowledge have all been repaired under warranty.

Try Sean Hyland Motorsport for pistons. They can custom make pistons for modulars in any compression ratio. 9.5:1's cost $105 a piece for the 5.4 in the lightning. www.seanhylandmotorsport.com

Let's see, $47.50 each from Ford for OEM pistons, or pay $108 each to the over hyped losers at SHM. This could be a tough choice.

Wink

"Over hyped losers"!?!
For $105ea. you can get any compression ratio you want. If stock compression is what you want, get stock pistons. If your building your motor up, $105 for custom pistons is not a bad price.
