I hate the front end of the 09 F150s.. Looks chitty!

 

If it happens they're still two completely different kinds of trucks aimed at two completely different markets...but I'm not holding my breath for the 'Raptor'.

 

Sounds cool, doubt I could afford it.

 

Who ever wrote that article must be a ***, "not that there's anything wrong with that!"

 

If your into the off road thing, it would be cool to go to your local dealer and order up a true off road capable vehicle, as for the turbo possibility-I just don't see it, with all the parts available off the shelf for the current crop of blower cars, do you see them re engineering the wheel? I don't, would I want it over a real gen 3, ah, no, but it cool in it own way, to each his own.

 

I would see the lightning in production faster than this "Raptor"

they both will occupy their own areas of "cool"

Lightning = Street and track performance

Raptor = Off-road performance

 

Looks like they should leave the "Raptors" to Yamaha

 

If given the green light, the Raptor could be a year-and-a-half to two years away. Stay tuned.
