Racing Stripes
Has anyone put racing stripes on their truck? I know there is a red L with yellow stripes, but are there others?
Pictures?
Anyone with a silver truck with blue/black stripes?

Hey Zeus,
Stripes on the Lightnings really draws looks. Most like it, but some hate it. If you are not one to mine what others think or say; then be true to yourself and do what you want.
I think Dark, almost black, blue would look great on that truck. If you go lighter, be sure to look at matching the shades and hues. Stripes are bold and must be done correctly to prevent that, " I'm a young man with tape" look. You are looking to accent not overwhelm and that can be hard to do with stripes.
Good luck, study and think before painting.

dogleg - Thanks for your reply. I was hoping you would reply. I see what you are saying about the Love/Hate relationship. How much did your stripes cost?

on a silver truck
i think racing stripes with the same silver color but with pearl in them
kinda ghost stripes
would look good
and then u got the best of both worlds
the ones that hate it will say its ok cus u cant see it much
the ones that love it will love the stripes because they are different and look good
mi dos pesos

I have to agree with that ghost thought. I have seen those and they really look great. But if you are going to spend that kind of money I prefer bold.
I spent $2,000 including the rear glass holder. If you go to the paint shop you have to get that cheat trim painted. Be careful when it comes to painting the rear handle on the gate as paint does not wear well on plastic.
I also had the rear lens painted and they look a lot better than those covers up close.
