Need Help: 01 White on X-plan in TX
Does anyone know of a dealer in TX that will give me the X-plan price on a new white 2001?
My truck has 26,500 mi and a leaky intercooler, would consider trading up for X-plan price (around 28,500?)

I found dealers that honored X plan pricing by e mail. I made a simple note saying I was in the market for......and do you honor X plan pricing on it. I copied and pasted my way into the right dealer. Go to the Ford website and then the Dealer Connection and find the SVT dealers and mail away. It takes time, but you will save thousands.

I purchased on the X plan from Five Star Ford in Fort Worth. I purchased a Supercrew but the sales guy said he would have been willing to do it on anything I wanted.

I tried every dealer in the DFW area and none of them were willing to go X-Plan when I ordered (February). Good luck. I've been hearing a lot about dealers that honor X-Plan in the midwest (Ohio, etc.) You may want to try up there, although I know it's a long distance.

I've got a stupid question. I'm in a bad truck at the moment with lots of problems (see my post in the Engine forum) that I want to get out from under. What exactly is this X plan, and is it strictly for Lightnings? Tnx.
