Amateur Radio at WFC
Is there anyone going to WFC that is into Ham radio. If so, we can find a repeater to talk on while there or a simplex freq.

Lightninrod, I will be using a mag mount 2m / 440 5/8 wave for the trip. Dump that 11m trash and get your ticket. You will be glad you did. There's a bunch of good folks on Ham bands. Please you dont get cussed out.

thanks redrocket: i've got two wilson mag mounts but i prefer a solid bed mount(on my 97 f150 xlt) with a s/steel quick disconnect. can't decide whether to drill holes in my new L. heheheh, don't have it yet, but i'm working towards getting one.
Lightninrod, get the "Now your talking" book and you will pass the test easy. I got it for my wife and two weeks later she only missed 3 on the test.
