I have never been there, I don't have a helmet and I am in shorts now. Can I run w/o a helmet and in shorts or do I have to go home and change. I know if I run under 14 I need a helmet, if I do will they flag me or will they just not let me run to start with? I haven't been to a track for 20 yrs! Damn it I sound older than I think I am!

Let me put it to you like this. I ran about a dozen times in the 13's before they threw me out for not wearing a helmet. That was right after I grudge raced a corvette Z06 and beat him. So I think I kind of brought the attention on myself. You are SUPPOSED to have pants and a helmet, but you can probably get by without. I wouldn't make a habit of it though.
