Well, I could give a rip about a SuperCab.
I'm a Contractor and getting to the job first can mean the difference in putting bread on the table. I thought the Lightning would be my ticket to financial bliss BUT, NO!!!

Ford wouldn't make a longbed Lightning! I got to have my pipe rack, and what about my ladders?

And don't get me started about that BED!

I agree with greensnake, partly. Well...I actually like the styling of the harley f150 Cept it would look better in a regular cab and if they didn't put that orange pinstriping on it. But the black and chrome is cool...so is the interior. However...I don't want to see our engine in that truck.

Leave the harley as nothing more than a styling package...harley bikes were never really about performance so why shud the truck be any different.

mikey...good luck with the L when u get it

For all of you who want a Lightning that seats 4 I have one word "Thunder", the expedition with lightning components. As for making your truck the best it can be, go for it. I'll be happy in my Lightning with just me and my woman, if anyone else wants a ride they'll have to hop in the back.

I have nothing against 200 pound girlfriends, but they do slow you down...maybe not in the bedroom, but certainly in a performance vehicle. Remember, we are talking about extremes here. Every pound counts in performance. No one goes to the track and asks a buddy to ride in the passenger seat.

All opinions aside, I think we all agree that GBX needs to get a sense of humor. Read some more posts around here and realize that most of the people who frequent this forum are here to learn about and enjoy their vehicles, not thrash others.

Just have some fun like the rest of us.

What more sotrage could you want, If you wanted a slow supercab then you should have bought a RT. The Lightning is really made for one thing only and thats whooping some pickup truck and ocassional car a$$, Plus a super cab just looks ugly as sin, functional yes, but ugly. Hey there's never going to be a supercab lightning, so everyone just chill out. All this bitching is makeing me crazy. And if you have a two hundred pound girlfreind that might be a good thing cause then you can drive with a full take of gas and even the truck out, Me I like them fit and trim so when there on top it doesn't hurt my ribbs, HAHA. Like the snake said everyone go smoke a bowl and relax, you are all banned from typing until you get high, trust me it will work. You won't even want to go fast.

I know your not insinuating I have a 200 pound girlfriend, not that there's anything wrong with that (Like Seinfeld says).

you lightining guys need to get your heads out of your @ss. just because some of us cant afford L doesent mean we cant try to make our trucks cool. we arent trying to be better than you guys. we just want to have a fast truck too. and it is not practical to just sell our trucks and plunk down 30 large for a reg cab L. i dont see why you guys are so protective of your precious L and how it is better than every thing. i think you should support and try to help people with thier performance trucks. not pash them just because they dont have a L. i suppose it doesnt really matter because i dont care if you guys think your truck is better. because it isnt always better just because you like it better and it is faster. i would like to know whos truck would be better if you wanted to tow a boat and pack your bed with camping stuff and take 4 people camping. it wouldnt be an L i can tell you that much. and dont give me that if you want a camp truck get a superduty and if you want to go fast get an L. because most people cant afford 2 trucks that are 30K each. so if i want to have a fast and fun extended cab that i can use for all purposes i dont see you you should flame me and call me stupid. if i could afford an L and a extended cab i would but i cant. and i need the space more than i need the perfect handeling and performance. so i will try to build a cool truck out of my extended cab. weither or not it wil win lemans. i dont mean to be rude but some of you make me mad with your Nothing besides and L will do antics.
