Post Front End Protection

Installed the SVT bra, that I ordered for my 99, on my truck this weekend. I really don't like the looks, but if it will help with rock chips/bugs etc, it is worth it. Has anybody bought from Reflex Enterprises? They can be reached at www.xpel.com. They sell paint protection kits made from 3M's scotchal energy-absorbent thermoplastic urethane film, whew! Their words not mine. They are cut to size for many different cars including Lightning.

I use the 3M stuff (but from stoneguard) for my lights, but its a PIA for the whole front end and yellows slowly over time.

Thumbs up

I bought the whole kit from Invinca-shield (3M product) and had a local dealer put it on. It is about the best money I spent on the truck, it is EXPENSIVE, except for chip, maf, and filter of course. I get alot of compliments on it...especially when people actually get close enough to see that there is actually a film on there.

I have not had any problems with yellowing but my truck is red so I might not see it as much as a white truck.

Later,

Collin

I installed the xpel kit 2 weeks ago. It is a pain in the butt to install and by the time you get good at it, youre done. The entire kit is apprx. $400 (going from memory) and they included the squeege. Heres a hint the mirror sections are extremely short but the film can be stretched. I didnt know about this
