ok im going to change plugs but....

waiting for a nice day (rare in mich right now) to change my plugs but im scared from all the post ive read about stripping the heads or blowing plugs. So what im asking is for any tips or advice i should know about before i start to help prevent any troubles? Also the valve that sits on the passenger side valve cover that has the breather tube in it is making lots of noise, what is this part? why would it be making so much noise ? Again thankyou for your replies.

use a magnet on a stick to remove the coilpac bolts once loose, this way you don't drop them.
get an long spark plug socket, snap on makes a great one and i use it.
7 mm swivel socket is key for the drivers side rear 2.

the valve is the PCV valve, not sure what would cause it to make noise.

Add some anti-seize to the threads and torque to 13 ft. lb.'s
