Inside door handle peeling

Does anyone know how I could fix the inside door handle. For some reason the covering is starting to peal off. Thanks for the help.

I bought some chrome ones off ebay. The OEM silver ones are like $300 from the dealership.

About two years ago I paid around $150.00 from ford parts online. They came with the whole door handle mechanism. BTW the chrome ones are plastic chrome.

Here's mine, from that TFP USA manufacturer, got on ebay for 55 bucks a pair or something:

While the door panel was off, new speakers and the billet lock plunger was put in. The switch covers I've had for a while.
