I saw the FF&MM artical a while back but I thought it was just a stall convertor.

At the bottom they give expensive advice, whats necessary and what's not?

I want to order this tomorrow but I'm not sure what else I need, if I rely on level 10 I'm sure they will say that I need everything.

 

Try the $150 Level 10 shift kit. Huge difference.

So is it safe for me to assume that the $150 shift kit is the same as the $650 kit but you'll have to install it yourself?

looking to do the mod soon.

 

No the $650.00 kit is actually a rebuild kit for the trans complete with new clutches and such. The $150.00 kit is just to increase line pressure for better shifts.
