I drive my BLACK Lightning to Cincy every day (work there) and have had 0 problems with the cops or anyone else. The Police have NOT gone nuts. If the young man that was shot and killed (Tim Thomas), would have obeyed their authority, he would still be alive today. It is a shame that what happened happened, but, if a officer tells you to stop, you STOP! If I was a cop chasing a guy, through a dark alley, with 14 warrants (all non-felony) and he starts reaching into the waist of his pants (as was reported) I would not hesitate to fire my gun at him/her no matter what color they were. This young man's mother had "one question to ask" and it was "Why?". She then goes on to say that she brought her kids up to run from the cops!!! Right there is her answer "why". I truely feel sorry for Tim and his family and also for Officer Roach and his family. Officer Roach is being considered guilty without any of the investigations being finished. Officer Roach just wants to be able to go home to his family every night, and since he felt his life was in danger, he did what he was TRAINED and PAID to do, he "neutralized the threat" to himself and the rest of his fellow officers and community. As for all of the rioting, most of those people are using the death of Thomas for a SORRY EXCUSE to destroy their own neighborhoods and to loot business'. There was a picture of an 11 year old boy, hiding his face in his shirt, in the Cincinnati Enquirer and the caption reports him as saying (when asked his name) "Ican't tell you my name, 'cause I don't want my momma to know where I'm at, 'cause I'm going to do some looting tonight". It is truely sad when an 11 year old even knows what looting is. I won't even get into the beating of whites by the thugs that were rioting.

As for the comment about being embarrassed to be a white American, I've NEVER been embarrassed to be who I am, and NEVER will be. Neither should you or anyone else.
