Ported Eaton Vs Whipple

Can a ported eaton come close to a whipple producing boost or is it not possible.... let me knows need to know if i have to take out my check book lol....

Isn't Steigemeir doing a stage 5 and 5+ that has some pretty hefty gains? With the gains advertised on their website you would be close to the similar whipple, but the twin screw will always to a better job at keeping temps down and allowing you to run more.

It's not a matter of boost, it's a matter of volume. You can spin the **** out of an Eaton and make 18-20 psi, but you'll also have insane air charge temps, and you're still only moving air through a 112 ci blower. The Whipple 2.3 is a 140 ci blower, so it can move much more air per revolution. That's where the power comes from.
